Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She was awarded the highest number of prizes for her performances as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively for her roles in Nashville (2012). In addition, she played the principal part of Jerrica Jem Betnton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Also, she has a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for the class of 2012 as she completed her studies. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the offer twice. The second time it was due to her desire to play in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series in which she was Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
